I’m back from Atlanta and let me tell you, the post-vacay depression is real. Ohio still has snow and it’s going into late April. What the hell? But anyways, I went to Atlanta to attend the Screencraft Writers Summit that was attached to the Atlanta Film Festival.
The event was pretty awesome, I got to interact with a bunch of awesome people who have made it in this industry and I got some really good advice. I don’t want to discuss too much of what went on but I came out of there with a renewed faith in my career path. I also came out with a new found ambition: let’s make a movie.
I love conferences like these because they give me hope. I always feel like my career path and passions are confirmed. I was assured that I’m on the right track and that’s all I could ask for.
Anyway, I’m going to crawl under a blanket and wait for spring to sprout.
